Whether you’re new to the area, recently got your first pet, or are just exploring options, we’d like to welcome you to Chesapeake Veterinary Hospital and give you an idea of what we have to offer. As the largest veterinary hospital in Queen Anne’s County, CVH has been locally owned and operated for the last 30 years.
We pride ourselves on being able to provide the individualized personal attention that comes from being part of a small town community, along with the capability of having access to the most recent technological advancements and standards of practice. With four full time doctors on staff, and three other doctors working in association with our hospital, we have the resources to meet your pet’s every need.
We believe in the value of preventative care. We will work with you to craft an individualized wellness plan for your pet. No two animals are the same, and our wellness plans are breed specific and reflective of your pet’s individual lifestyle needs. Feel free to explore the rest of our website to learn a little more about us, or give us a call today to schedule your first appointment.

Whatever time, day or night that crisis arrives…
We ask that you call for an appointment when possible, however, we are always available for emergencies. Our doctors are available after hospital hours through our 24/7 answering service. In addition, we also have an established relationship with Anne Arundel Emergency Clinic, located on Bestgate Road in Annapolis and they are open 24 hours with ER Pet Services.
We will do our best to respect your schedule and see your animal promptly. When unscheduled emergencies cause a delay in our appointment schedule, we appreciate your understanding, as we know you would want the same immediate care for your pet.
We do offer drop-off examinations and house calls for instances when your schedule or other commitments make it necessary.
